Mostramos el avance de la obra de La EDAR de Atotonilco que contará con una capacidad nominal de tratamiento medio de 35m3/s y un máximo de 50m3/s, incluida la evacuación final de los residuos sólidos y lodos que se generen. Igualmente la planta estará dotada de un sistema de cogeneración, para aprovechamiento del biogás producido en la digestión, permitiendo el máximo ahorro energético. The Atotonilco Wastewater Plant, a project in which ACCIONA Agua is taking part, is being built.The plant operates two treatment processes and will have the capacity to treat 35,000 liters of water per second, equivalent to 60 percent of the wastewater generated in the Mexico Valley, and will benefit twelve million inhabitants.This facility not only takes care of the treatment and recovery of local aquifers; it also has a positive effect on the environment by avoiding GHG emissions.
